am asking how much love does a little heart needs. I say that it is limit less. So, we started
sharing love to loveless hearts. We have seen many uncared little children near the railway
crossing and we started caring them helping them and now it grows into a big banyan tree that is
“Anbu Public Charitable Trust”.
The people who are suffering from poverty, illiteracy and unemployment are taken care of
People who are sick, uncared are cared here. The children are taught to keep the environmental
and personal cleanliness which is most important for healthy and peaceful living “la Bella dame
sans merci”. A lady without smile and mercy is waste. As such, a heart without love and kindness
is worthless.
Anbu charities is a non-governmental organization. It has been started with a view to lift the
under privileged down trodden people from their drudging and misery. This trust is serving
people who have only one meal for a day and does not have any access for education .This trust
is located in a deep slum near a railway crossing, where there is no meaning for (cleanliness)
health and hygiene.

Trust President :
The founder president of the trust is Mr.J.Sundararajan B.A, B.Sc, M.Ed., a Retired Head
Master in government school for the past 37 years. He was applauded for his note worthy
services by the educationist. He is a sports person also a well experienced educational
administrator. He is an abled person of handling any level of students because his specialization
in M.Ed is clinical psychology. His is a family of teachers, dedicated to humanity and social
services.
Trust Secretary :
The secretary Mr. Franklin B.sc Phy., PGDCA, is an ardent young man much given to social
services. He has a thorough knowledge of ailing poor society of our country and has a
determination and devotion to lift it to happiness and self sufficiency. He has good circle of
friends to support his noble act of service and sacrifice. So that, “Sharing, Caring, Helping
others and loving” this goal of anbu charities be fulfilled.
Finance Director :
Mrs.Malathy Ravikumar M.Sc (Psychology) is the wife of an Engineer. She is an able
administrator and dedicated social worker. The trust is maintained safe and sound by her careful
guidance and strict supervision. She is serving, the society impartially all creed and caste with
great humanity.
The Poor under privileged children who have no access for good education or a peaceful living
and for health and hygiene have been brought under the care of our Anbu Charities. Their
mysterious and poor condition have been sympathetically analyzed and measures have been
sorted out to relieve from such misery. The children who were under child labour are also
through under the care of the trust and offered all help and education.
A school was started at saddaiyappan gounder street, Rathinapuri with a strength of 45
children. They were from huts. They were given books, stationeries and uniform. With the help
of dedicated teachers they were given good quality education. As many students were
thronged in order to accommodate more number of children the location was shifted to a nearby
place called kannappan nagar in Rathinapuri,Coimbatore Dist,South India.
Now there are more than 150 children getting education and all facilities free of cost. The
children are given proper health care. Great care has been given to build up their character,
good habits and fine behaviors. Also sports activities and social activities are given, so that
they would build up into a strong, good and a responsible citizens.
Cultural activities such as drama, stage performance and dance class are also provided. They
have got excellent opportunities to bring out their hidden talents. During holidays and
vacation, vocational education such as, Weaving, drawing, embroidery, hand writing
development, spoken English and painting are given by qualified teachers
EYE CAMP
The eye camp was conducted at R K Thirumana Mandapam.It had a great welcome from the
people of that location nearby kannappan nagar. There was a big crowd of patients more than
480 patients profited by the camp and about 23 persons got their eye operated and healed , all
free of cost. Anbu Charitable Trust provided then free meals and transport to facilities.
The second eye camp was conducted in our own campus on 4th of June 2006. About 500
patients were given spot treatment and 36 eye operations were done at Arvind eye hospital
free of cost. They were provided meals and transport by us.
Again on 24th Sep 2006 our long planned programme of “stop child labour” was started. The
president and the secretary and all level members of the trust entered into the lanes and huts of
the locality. And even from the hotels and houses some children were picked up by our trustees.
About 30 dropped out children were admitted into the “Sarva Sikhsha Abignan” (SSA)
scheme.
They are given all educational facilities and 1 time meal. This work is carried on by a crew of
qualified staff. On Oct 2nd 2006 our tailoring class was inaugurated by Lion. Dr.
Azhagujayabalan. Two sessions in a day are run by a qualified sewing teacher. At present 30
candidates are benefited by this vocational course.
The Trust has a great drive to increase its services in all the length and breadth.
At present the trust is located at 9/13 3rd street Murugan nagar, Kannappan nagar,West
Rathinapuri Post, Coimbatore-641027,Tamilnadu,India.
Our children are drop outs from school due to various reasons or relieved off from child labour
and semi orphans and abandoned children due to many of the prevailing social evils.,have been
brought under the care of “Anbu Charities”. They are safeguarded, educated and ensured
hope and security in life.
Under-nourished, unhealthy sickly children has been given care and treatment within the limits of
and possibilities of the trust. The expenses are born by the trustees and members within their
usability.
We prepared to (intensify action) acquire our own land about 10 acres out side the city where
the land is cheap and a destination follows. This is in addition to the already existing location in
the city at present.
1. A day care center for the children of the near by villagers where both the parents go for job.
2. To start an old age home and an orphanage for 100 children.
3. A hospital to care the need of orphans, destitutes women and sick children.
4. To construct a community hall.
